A PYSC Members only opportunity.

Join PYSC for a comprehensive training for mandated reporters provided by the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance.

A mandated reporter is anyone who works or volunteers with children, and they are required by law to report suspected child abuse. This training will help make sure you and your organization are equipped to meet this responsibility.

Participants will learn the legal definitions of a child, perpetrator, and categories and indicators of abuse. Participants will also learn obligations and rights of mandated reporters, and the process of making a report. This curriculum is approved for Act 48 credits, and meets requirements under Act 126 and Act 31 for required training of mandated reporters, included continuing education for health-related licenses under the Department of State.
